 My name is Jane
Howell and I live on beautiful Lake Martin in Alabama with my husband
Scotty and two Schnauzers (Lucy and Patti). My 30-year career in the
apparel industry took me all over the world and when I had a few extra
minutes, I would seek out the nearest art gallery.
I am an
experimental artist but primarily paint with oil. My love for painting
began in the 90’s when I started lessons under Ms. Lillian Nublat, a
French impressionist artist. Our small class of artists traveled
several times to the south of France with Ms. Nublat for inspiration and
wine.
I have
recently retired and hope to devote more time to my art and hopefully
attend more workshops.
