Jimmie
Sue Johnson sees the world around her as one
filled with beauty and
wonder. She has the fond
hope that when people see her paintings that
they will see and feel her emotions. As an
admirer of the Russian school - their courage
and color - she still maintains a softness that
is reflective of her personality. Her background
includes watercolor and acrylics but working in
oil has opened a door to texture and brilliant
color. She has had a good fortune of painting,
traveling and working with many of today's
finest American artists -
Ted Goerschner,
Ann Templeton,
Jo Ann Williams Walker,
Debbie High,
Guido Frick,
Roger Dale Brown,
Milton Lenoir,
Kim English and
Qiang Huang. |
