Judith Jordan majored in Fine Arts at Auburn University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.   Her accomplishments include teaching art at Southern Union College, numerous workshops and classes for both adults and children. Many of her paintings complement homes, offices, public buildings and private collections throughout the United States, Alaska, Canada, England, Germany and Sweden.  Among her credits, Jordan's work has been featured in individual shows internationally as well as nationally.  Among the galleries that provided one man shows for Jordan include:  New Horizon Gallery in Fairbanks, Alaska,  Northern Exposure Gallery, Kodiak, Alaska, Heritage Hall Museum in Talladega, Alabama and Gothenburg, Sweden.

Jordan also accepts commissioned work.  Some of her recent commissions include Mount Vernon Methodist Church, Washington, D.C., twenty-nine paintings depicting the history of Clay County commissioned by the state of Alabama and thirty-two historical paintings depicting the history of Clay County by the First State Bank, Lineville, Alabama.  In addition, Southern Union Community College commissioned Jordan to paint twelve portraits of past college presidents.  

 The very talented Jordan has additional  work not limited to canvas. She has completed eight Baptistry Murals and has recently illustrated two children's books.     

Jordan  is co- owner of the Marble Gate Gallery, Court Square, Ashland, AL.
